A small press for short, dark, grown-up fiction.
Adults only. Everything Umbralark publishes is explicit fiction written for and
about consenting adults over eighteen.
What we do
Umbralark publishes short-form adult fiction in audio. One sitting, start to finish: nothing on the list runs longer than an hour, and nothing on it is padded to reach a page count.
We commission for the ear rather than the page. A sentence that reads beautifully and stumbles when spoken is a sentence we send back.

How our audio is made
Umbralark audiobooks are narrated by digital voices. No human narrator performs these recordings and no real person's voice was copied to make them. The voices are original and built for the list.
